History will be made Monday night as the tonight show host changes for the fourth time in nearly half a century.

Jay Leno, who has hosted the show for 17 years is passing the torch to Conan O'Brien.

Some local folks say it's a good thing, but others believe the show keeps going downhill.

"My favorite of all time is Johnny Carson, but I do like Jay Leno. I think Conan's gonna be a real poor choice," Ted Barnes said.

"I liked Johnny Carson. He just suits my style of humor better than the rest of them," Bob Dahler said.

"If he makes it as funny as the Conan O'Brien show, it's gonna be pretty cool," Michael Stoffel said.

What's the big deal? So Leno is leaving, it had to happen eventually. The Tonite show hasn't been funny or relevant in years.

Why all the talk in the article about carson......this has nothing to do with him. Its leno and conan. I think it will be a good switch....you can still watch leno at 10 so you dont lose that.
