VSouth Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Union workers at the Rite Aid warehouse in Poca have approved a new contract by a narrower margin than usual, thanks to a term requiring them to pay about $16 a week for insurance.

The workers approved the new contract Sunday by a vote of 157 to 113 at the teamsters building in South Charleston.

Workers at the distribution center say this is the closest vote in memory.

Denise Brown, a warehouse employee, says it's just a relief to still have a job and health insurance in the current economic climate.

The contract includes a provision saying the warehouse will remain open at least for the next three years.
