Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Another car dealership in West Virginia has agreed to make good on a sales promotion that offered consumers free gas.
Attorney General Darrell McGraw said Thursday that Bert Wolfe Ford Porsche Audi & Toyota will provide $450 worth of gas to consumers who file complaints with McGraw's office.
The agreement stems from a promotion the Charleston dealership held last September.
People had to come to the dealership to see if they had won an automobile, cash or a $450 gas card.
Gas card winners were told they had to pay a $5 registration free to freegascentral.com. Winners would receive a $25 gift card for every $100 in gasoline receipts they submitted to the group.
Two other dealerships in the state agreed earlier this year to make restitution for similar promotions involving freebeegas.com
