Cincinnati (AP) -- Visitation is set in suburban Cincinnati for longtime state lawmaker Bob Schuler, who died Friday. He was 66 and had been fighting cancer.
Monday's calling hours at a funeral home in Deer Park will be followed Tuesday morning by a funeral mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Cincinnati.
Schuler first went to the Ohio house in 1993, and had served in the senate since 2003.
The senate has canceled Tuesday's session for the funeral.
Schuler is survived by his wife, shelagh, two children and five grandchildren.
