Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say human body parts have been found in a pond and trash bins at an Ohio apartment complex.
Columbus police say they believe the remains are likely those of a woman and that the death was recent.
Police spokesman Sgt. Rich Weiner says a resident of the apartments is being questioned by detectives.
Weiner says authorities were called to the complex on the city's southwest side at around 9:45 p.m.
Wednesday after a maintenance worker pulled from the pond what he suspected were body parts.
Homicide Sgt. Dana Norman described the scene as "disgusting."
Police looking for more remains were joined on Thursday by coroner's officials and Ohio State University anthropologists.
