A woman who made allegations of misconduct against four authority figures in Marietta and Washington County has been indicted on drug charges.

27-year-old Crystle Phillips was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury on one count of trafficking in drugs, and another count of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Authorities say Phillips made the allegations of misconduct after being informed she was going to be arrested on drug charges.

These allegations led to the resignation of a Washington County Sheriff's Deputy, the termination of a Marietta Firefighter and a Marietta Police Officer and the demotion of another police officer.

Hey Angie...if you would pay attention, all of the officials that were accused have admitted to having relations with this woman. It appears she was doing them to stay out of trouble and keep her little business going...but someone got jealous and ratted her out...the men in this case are just as bad as she it and should be fired!

If these accusations are causing these men to retire, then they are acting a little guilty. She probably will get the book thrown at her in court for getting the city in trouble for misconduct, but you all know how unfairness works in are judicial system.

Yes angie people did consider this girl could be lying until 2 of 4 admitted guilt and another resigned to keep from having to answer to the allegations while the last one was fired. Try to keep up.

Law enforcement in this area is so inbred that I really am thinking of moving to any city where they have better things to do than stalk people that they have it out for. And no...cops dont quit if they're innocent.

Seems strange that people immediately resigned when accused of misconduct unless they were guilty. Most people would defend themselves against untrue allegations.

This is nothing more than a woman scorned. She's mad that she's being arrested, even though she's having relations with law enforcement officers, so she turns on them. While I do not agree with what these men were doing, this is disgusting that the only reason she squealed is because she was charged with the crime she committed.

I just want to know one thing. This girl got indicted but what happened to the four that were charged a couple of weeks ago? Hines and her boyfriend David and Hawkins and the other Hines. I thought they were all charged around the same time.

Could someone please tell us what is going on with her son? I really thought she would be charged with child neglect or something. I just hope her son is OK and doesn't have to hear about this on the street or in school. Kids can be crule and he should't be put through all that. Hopefully she will make better choices when she gets out of prison.
