Charles Town, W.Va. (AP) -- With the economy ailing, a group of Jefferson County business owners and residents says it's time for another spin of the wheel on table games.
Vote Yes Table Games was organized by business owner Eric Lewis to create support for a new referendum on casino-style gambling at Charles Town Races & Slots.
Two years ago, voters rejected games like poker and blackjack at the venue.
Lewis says times have changed, and additional revenue for the county plus new jobs make the idea more attractive.
The decision to pursue a new referendum is up to the racetrack, and officials there have not said when they plan to do so.
Lewis says the group is taking no money from the track.
