The rainy weather didn't stop the 51st annual Harvest Moon Festival from happening at City Park Saturday afternoon.

People came out to see arts and crafts from across the valley.

They also got to enjoy great food, entertainment and the opportunity to learn some new crafting techniques.

The two day event is raising money to help support the Wood County Recreation Commission.

Whether it's in the tents or inside the pavilion, the harvest moon festival has something for everyone.

"For this one to be such a unique festival is because of the children. The children are our future and without these programs to benefit these kids, it's hard for us to teach them. So we like to have them come out and learn how to play basketball and baseball," says Harvest Moon Festival Entertainment Director, Laura Anderson.

The Harvest Moon Festival will continue Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
