Marysville, Ohio (AP) -- Ninety people who make varsity letters for school jackets are losing their jobs in an ohio plant closing.

Neff Motivation has announced that by the end of the year it will shut down its factory in Marysville, about 30 miles northwest of Columbus.

Neff is part of New York-based Visant Corp.

Visant chief financial officer Paul Carousso says the work of making the chenille letters will be transferred to a plant in the Dominican Republic.

Visant also is the parent company of Jostens, maker of Super Bowl rings and high school class rings.
