WVa Conference Focuses On Technology In Classroom

Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Hundreds of technology experts and educators from across West Virgina are in Charleston this week for a conference focusing on "learning and living in a digital world."

Sessions will include technology resources, network management, web development and virtual learning.

Speakers include best-selling author and illustrator Peter Reynolds and author Michael Horn.

Reynolds is the founder of Emmy-award winning Fablevision.

His latest collaboration "Someday," written by Alison McGhee, recently hit no. 1 on the New York Times best seller children's list.

Horn co-wrote "Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change The Way The World Learns."

The fifth annual West Virginia Statewide Technology Conference runs Monday through Friday.
