Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health is seeking public comment on its goals, priorities and objectives for its Women, Infants and Children's Program.
The federally funded program provides nutrition counseling and education, breast-feeding promotion and support, and health screening, among other services.
A public hearing is set for Aug. 17 in Charleston.
A copy of the plan can be viewed at the state WIC office in Charleston.
It also is available on the office of nutrition services' web site at ons.wvdhhr.org.
Written comments can be submitted through Aug. 10.
