Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- The Greenbrier has hired a familiar face to work in its kitchen.

Richard Rosendale will return to the resort in White Sulphur Springs in mid-September as executive chef.

The 33-year-old chef served as chef de cuisine at the Greenbrier's Tavern Room Restaurant from 2002 to 2006.

He most recently worked as a chef and operating partner at two restaurants in Columbus, Ohio: Rosendales Modern Bistro and Details Minibar & Lounge.

Rosendale replaces Peter Timmins, a certified master chef who recently retired after 15 years at the Greenbrier.
