3 WVa Projects To Get Stimulus Help

Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Three projects in West Virginia are getting financial help from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said Tuesday that the rural development loans and grants are funded through the federal stimulus package.

The Winfield Municipal Building Commission will receive a $2 million loan for storm water management and drainage improvements.

A $250,000 loan and a $50,000 grant will be provided to travel beautiful Appalachia, Inc. of Northfork.

The money will be used to renovate part of a building for a community center and a wellness center.

The Bluefield Building Commission will receive a $1 million loan to repair a parking garage.
