Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- The State Supreme Court is ready for its closeup.
A documentary film about the history of the court entitled "Foundation of Justice" will have its premiere at the State Culture Center in Charleston on Sept. 2.
It will be shown on West Virginia Public Broadcasting the following night.
Narrated by Justice Thomas McHugh, the film traces the history of the court, the structure of West Virginia's judicial system and the design of the Supreme Court Chamber, which was created by famed architect Cass Gilbert.
The court also plans to distribute the 27-minute documentary to schools around the state.
