Williamstown Suspects Caught

Williamstown police chief John Burdette tells us two teenagers from the Williamstown area will be charged with grand larceny.

Last Saturday more than $11,000 was stolen from the Williamstown Lion's Club Christmas tree sale.

Burdette says a tip lead police to the teenagers. The money has not yet been recovered, but he says thanks to broadcasts by WTAP-TV, charities that were to benefit from the tree sale have received donations to replace the stolen money.
