New details Tuesday, surrounding the death of Wood County school teacher and former Miss West Virginia Vickie Myers.
The Parkersburg Police Department is releasing her autopsy results.
Police Chief Gerald Board says Myers death was accidental.
Family members discovered Myers dead in her home about a week ago.
The state medical examiner's office in Charleston has pinpointed Myers cause of death as asphyxiation.
Police say that indicates she choked to death.
What officers won't say...is if drugs or alcohol were a factor in her death.
Chief Gerald Board says, "I could comment on the drugs and alcohol, but I won't. It was an accidental death. It's been ruled an accident, and that's all the police department is concerned with, and that's all we report on."
As far as the police department is concerned, these test results close their investigation into Vickie Myers death.
