Thursday’s Wood County commissioners meeting was standing room only.

On the agenda? A proposed ordinance regulating exotic entertainment in the area.

Adult entertainment establishments will be grandfathered in if the ordinance passes, so it will have little or no affect on them. What it hopes to do make it tougher on new business like this one to pop up in the county.

And that's exactly what some concerned citizens hope will happen.

The ordinance will be on the agenda for next weeks commission meeting.

If passed, new businesses of this type could be subject to a $2,000 yearly license fee, and other additional requirements.
