Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- Ohio republicans aren't sold on the health care overhaul President Barack Obama laid out to congress.
U.S. Sen. George Voinovich says the plan would sink the nation deeper into debt.
In a statement released ahead of Obama's speech Wednesday, Voinovich said the president's proposal would not move the country in the right direction.
Ohio U.S. Rep. John Boehner, the house minority leader, says the President needs to start over and seek more involvement from the GOP.
Democratic leaders in ohio see things differently.
Gov. Ted Strickland says the speech brought "crystal clarity" to the insurance debate.
Sen. Sherrod Brown says the President made a strong case for reforms to provide all Americans with access to health care coverage.
