A Wood County man who faked his death has chosen to return back to West Virginia to face his upcoming trial.
Mike Nixon waived extradition Thursday in a Parker County, Texas courtroom. He is expected back in Wood County within the next ten days.
Nixon was indicted in the Fort Worth area about four years ago for faking his death and trying to change his identity.
He's being charged in the Mountain State for scamming a Wood County business man out of thousands of dollars.
