Oktoberfest in Lowell this weekend has thousands of people coming out to Buell Island Park to enjoy the food, vendors and friends.

"Well it's big, it's got a little bit of everything, "said Parkersburg resident, Kathy Shields.

Over 100 vendors are selling their items at the festival and many vendors said that this year so far has been successful.

"Today (Saturday) has been beautiful we have had a wonderful crowd, and we are looking for another one tomorrow, " said the Mayor of Lowell, Doug Seese.

Proceeds from the festival go to Buell Island Park.

The festivities continue Sunday morning.
