Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a late night fire near Mountwood Park. It happened at Elliott’s Sawmill on Borland Springs Road, about a mile from U.S. Route 50.
Captain Mike McPeek of the Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Department says the complex was fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene.
No one was inside the area when it broke out, and no injuries were reported. It took several hours to put the blaze out.
An investigative team was back at the site Saturday afternoon, trying to determine the cause.
In addition to Deerwalk, the Eastwood and Waverly Volunteer Fire Departments also responded.
