Elementary students study plants and animals in school, but many of them have never actually seen or interacted with them.

That's why every year Sweetapple Farm in Vincent opens up to the public and school groups.

Tuesday, children, parents and teachers of Wood County Christian got to experience the farm first hand.

The group took a hayride and looked at a variety of plants, but children say they're favorite part was the animals.

Sweetapple Farm will also begin giving its spooky hayrides on October 16.
