W.Va. Middle School Coach Killed In Wreck

Mullens, W.Va. (AP) -- Police are investigating a head-on collision that killed a Wyoming County middle school coach.

Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff says 31-year-old Stacy McLamb of Mullens was driving on state route 10 when another vehicle crossed the center line and hit the coach's vehicle head-on.

The accident occurred Tuesday morning.

Aliff says McLamb was pronounced dead at a Beckley hospital.

McLamb was an assistant coach for the wyoming east seventh- and eighth-grade football team.

He coached Mullens Middle School's fifth- and sixth-grade girls basketball team last year.
