They made their way into Marietta last Friday, and Tuesday was the final day for the public to tour replicas of the Nina and the Pinta.

The two ships will head out early Wednesday morning for their next destination.

Crews say they've enjoyed talking with people in the Mid-Ohio Valley about Christopher Columbus and two of the three ships that were used in his discovery of America.

Crews also say they've had steady crowds every day, and have helped teach dozens of school groups about the ships' history.
