A man found guilty of 29 counts of sex related charges will spend the next 70 years behind bars.

Officials with the Washington County Prosecutor's office say Monday Daniel Keck, II was sentenced to 70 years in jail.

He was also ordered to forfeit his residence, computer, and camera used in the crimes.

Keck was arrested in January after one of the alleged juvenile victims came forward.

He was found guilty by a jury in September on 29 of the 35 counts against him.

Our reporter in the courtroom says Keck's attorney is planning to appeal.

We'll have more on this story in our evening newscasts as well as right here on our webchannel wtap.com.

How long before he is out on good behavior. Why 70 years in (jail) and not any prison time is he special. I am not sure he was sentenced to what it sounds like. However you look at it I don't think justic has been served. (All of those children received LIFE).

Why as a parent would you allow your children to go around a man that has no significant other or kids and allow them to hang out, i feel these parents are partially to blame.

I am glad to see that they got him off the streets, but 70 yrs does not compare to the to the life time of changes and miss concieved thoughts of love and trust..he took more then just there sexuality he took there life.I will say that me living with being molested for nine yrs when I was younger, that 70 yrs aint enough, and to hear that he is going to appeal this!!!well I must say if he does if aloud I would like to tesify that this is just not a simple thing for the victims they are that way all there life, and he just get off with jail...that is to simple..And to see him look so astonished that he could get that because he just wouldnt do that well I can tell you he is guilty ,you can see it in his eyes, and I bet he was molested and never got help and just thinks this is fine ...he deserves to loose alot more then just his house and and stuff..I bet that if it was up to the victims they would have just like to have lost a home and what a camera, like I said they will always have fears.

I think anytime they assault, or sexually abuse a child, they should be given the death sentence. Why waste taxpayers dollars to keep this piece of trash well fed, healthy and live for the next 70 years?????

Thank you police dept for the great work that you did in showing this man we do not tolerate ppl like his kind. At least kids will be able to feel a little safer, now if we can get rid of the others like him. When they are caught they all need lethal injection.

This just goes to show you that the justice system works. This man will never be outside the prison walls again. This was a case of great police work and great work by the prosecutors. We do still have great people in law enforcement in the Washington County Area. THANKS TO ALL OF THEM for keeping us safe

Its never enough, but they should have saved the taxpayers the expence and given him a lethal injection. Never fear, Jim, child molesters are on the receiving end of all the inmates disgust in jail. That will make up an iota for what he did to all those poor kids.
