Students, community members and faculty of Marietta College stand and marched together in a rally to support gay marriage.
With banners and signs expressing the point of view referring to themselves as "Gentle angry people" they called for a repeal of Ohio's defense of the Marriage Act that Gov. Taft signed into law.
The Marietta Police say they did receive a complaint that the protestors were blocking the roadway but no arrests were made.
