State police say a 20-year-old man, an 8-year-old and a 7-year-old boy were killed around 5 a.m. Wednesday when their car crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck. A 29-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl in the car were injured.

The accident occurred on U.S. 219 south of Thomas.

Also Wednesday, a Clay County High School student was killed and 10 people were injured when a pickup truck crashed on W.Va. Route 36 near Wallback. State police identified the student as 17-year-old Kara Conley.
