Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (AP) -- Blaming economic factors, organizers have pulled the plug on one of Ohio's largest annual holiday light displays.

In past years, the drive-through light show on the grounds of Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls featured more than 2 million lights set up in scores of arrangements over a two-mile course.

The center's operator, concert promoter Live Nation Inc., has released a statement saying the lighting festival has been canceled "for economic reasons."

The company says it has no plans for any future, similar event at Blossom, 23 miles southeast of Cleveland.

Some 30,000 vehicles visited the display in 2006, paying $12.50 per carload. Attendance slipped in more recent years, though Live Nation says it remained "pretty solid."
