Morgantown, W.Va. (AP) -- The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a plane crash that killed a pilot from Alexandria, Va.
Searchers found the piper pa-30 twin engine and the body of Kwan Sze Kwok in the mountains of southern West Virginia on Tuesday.
Although authorities did not release his age or hometown, pilot certification records at the Federal Aviation Administration show only one Kwan Kwok.
According to the records, Kwok had been certified as a commercial pilot for at least five years, rated for single- and multiengine aircraft, instrumental aircraft and rotorcraft helicopters.
Kwok left Texas Nov. 22, but FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford says he wasn't reported missing until Nov. 28.
It was windy, cloudy and drizzling around the time he went missing.
