In Wood County court, Judge Reed puts Dr. Scott Feathers in jail.

Feathers broke his three years of probation for prescribing hydrocodone to a confidential informant.

Feathers broke that probation to go bow hunting.

Feathers admits to his violation.

His sentencing is set for June.


UPDATE: 6/28/2012

Doctor Scott Feathers was arrested in December of 2009 and indicted a year later.

On April 9th of this year Feathers pleaded guilty to one count of delivery of a controlled substance.

Judge Reed sentenced him to 3 years probation Wednesday.



A Parkersburg doctor faces a felony charge for selling the Schedule III narcotic hydrocodone to a confidential informant.

According to a court document, Dr. Feathers allegedly sold a quantity of 10 milligram hydrocodone pills in October at his office at 218 Gihon Village in Parkersburg.

    Terribly sorry that justice was not served for this drug dealing - Yvonne - I hope someday the truth comes out and justice will be served on this man for Teresa.

    I know this man and for him to get probation is laughable to our justice system. He needs to be behind bars, he is not stable!! God Bless the family of Teresa Greathouse

    Dr. Feathers is one of t he best Doctors ever and Judge Reed is one of the best Judges ever, so there.

    lmao sometimes reading the comments left is better then reading the comics! the Doc helped ppl for free....not by selling them drugs. i know i had atleaste 10 sessions for free....no health insurance and out of work....the man got me backup on my feet and working again...every time i read these comments i cant help but laugh at you folks who need someone to blame....in your alls case yes he killed santa claus, and flew a plane into a building ,he started 2 world wars....and started aids.....he ruined your life and her life and his life.....there that should cover it! folks get a life! he made a mistake and he's paying for it.

      Good point. If you had got yourself a job and paid him he likely wouldn't have had to resort to drug dealing.

    That is pathetic "judge" Reed.... How can you not put a drug dealing doctor in jail when he is one of the biggest sources of pills to the community, its not like its some other dead beat selling that doestnt have another income, all drug dealers need punished but this IDIOT of a doctor gets by with probation, the guy has no respect for the courts in the first place, and well to be quite honest, I have NO RESPECT for this judges court as well, sad, sad, sad!!

      your lost! judge Reed is the best circut court judge we have... his sentence was more then fair. the doc isnt a doc anymore so what exactly is your problem? btw there are plenty more docs in the area just as guilty of handing them out with no regard of what long term effects will be.
