Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- A fourth-grade girl says she was in a bathroom stall at her suburban Columbus school when a man peered at her from beneath the partition.

Police say the man did not abide by school policy that requires visitors to sign in when entering Walnut Creek Elementary School in Genoa Township on Dec. 4.

Police say the student left the bathroom right away but did not tell anyone or file a police report until this week because she was embarrassed.

The man was captured on a surveillance camera and was in the school for about 30 minutes.

He has not been identified.

A district spokeswoman says the school is now locking all exterior doors during school hours and is using a buzzer system at its front entrance.

i think police officers ,the majority of them can get away with anything. This cop is going to walk free with probebly fines! If he is going to look at a girl in a PUBLIC school bathroom, imagine what he does to females he arrests!

People are so sick. I wish she would have kicked him in the face. That would have served him right. Poor girl.
