Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia citizens living in France can now exchange their driver's licenses for french licenses without taking knowledge or skills tests.

A reciprocal agreement announced Monday also applies to french citizens 18 years old or older living in West Virginia.

However, it doesn't apply to commercial driver's licenses or motorcycle endorsements.

The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles says the state has had a similar agreement with Germany for 10 years.
