Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Two adults are in jail after being charged with duct-taping a 2-year-old boy they were supposed to be baby-sitting.

James Usher and Della Jackson both face charges of felony child abuse.

Both were arraigned in Kanawha County magistrate court on Monday.

They're being held at South Central Regional Jail on $100,000 cash bonds.

It could not be immediately determined if either has a lawyer.

Police say they duct-taped the arms, ankle, torso and mouth of a boy they were watching at his mother's Charleston home and took pictures of him.

His mother, Jessica McClure, was not home at the time.

She was subsequently charged with felony child neglect.

McClure is being held at South Central Regional Jail.

If you go to the charleston news you will see why the mother was more than likely arrested. The child was often dirty and smelled of feces when taken to the babysitter's (a different babysitter), whom contacted child welfare services regarding the child's safety. It's on wchstv's website. I believe the news clip was extreme abuse.

If the mother is in jail, obvisouly this isnt the first time this little boy has been in danger. What is it that is not being told in this story? Mothers dont just get arrested for providing daycare. do they? Let's all put our hands together in prayer for this little guy.

this is a horrid act and the two who did it should be charged, but the mother wasn't there she hired these two to watch the child she didn't leave it home alone she wasn't beating it or not feeding it so why is she being charged????????? there must be more to this story that isn't being reported
