Parkersburg Police continue to look for clues into a weekend abduction and attempted robbery.

It happened at the Marathon Gas station at 2300 Pike Street.

Police say between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, an unidentified man put a gun to the head of a 22-year-old employee as she entered her vehicle.

The suspect ordered her to drive away from the store, and to give him the store's money bag. He made her stop the car, took her keys and purse, and fled the scene.

Detective Randy Lowe of the Parkersburg Police Dept. says, “If a person uses the debt card or writes check that could lead to potential subject."

The suspect description is:
White Male
Short and Stocky
Early 20's

Call the Parkersburg Police Dept. - 424-8444 if you have any information.

The suspect is described as a white male with a short, stocky build. He is in his mid-20s. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and some type of concealment over his head.
