Construction Site Theft

Ripley police are investigating a case of grand larceny Wednesday night. They say someone broke into a trailer at a construction site stealing nearly $4,000 worth
of surveying equipment.

The crime happened between Friday and Monday morning. Police say the crime occurred on Claywick Road where Carter Lumber Company is being built.

So far there have been no leads in the case.

There is an award of up to $1,000 being offered for the arrest and conviction of those associated with the theft.
