Closings Ahead In Ohio Teen Killings Trial

Cincinnati (AP) -- Jurors are expected to begin deliberations after closing arguments in the trial of an Ohio man charged with killing two teenage girls and burning their bodies.

Jurors may hear one more witness Friday before the prosecution gives its closing and deliberations begin in the trial of 41-year-old Anthony Kirkland.

Kirkland's attorneys have said their client admitted killing the teens, and they didn't plan to call witnesses in the guilt-or-innocence phase of the trial.

A second phase will be necessary if Kirkland is convicted.

Jurors would have to determine whether he should be executed.

Kirkland pleaded guilty last week to murdering two women and burning their bodies.

He was to have been tried in all four killings.

Take him out into the country and burn him alive at the stake in the same fashion the indians used. (they had an interesting, tortureous method used in Ohio years and years ago) After all, what he's done is between him and the Devil. Our part in this is to arrange that meeting!

I agree with Let them pay, but however I would like to see him prison and let Bubba and his boys give him a miserable life, instead of him getting out easy.I also think the family should be the ones to decide whether he lives or dies. To the victims families I am so sorry for your losses.God Bless you.

he should get more than a slap on the wrist, they need to execute him, and tell him before hand they are going to burn his body just like he did those girls. show the scum no mercy just as he showed those girls no mercy.
