Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- Police in Ohio have brought more charges against a WalMart shopper accused of punching children in the head for kicks.

Columbus police Sgt. John Hurst says two more assault counts were filed Sunday against 68-year-old Ralph Conone.

He was arrested at a WalMart store last week on two similar misdemeanors after police said he smacked a woman's sons with a key sticking out of his fist.

Hurst says the new counts involve a 2-year-old boy struck the same way in two separate incidents at the store on Feb. 28.

Investigators say Conone told them it was exciting to hit children with their parents close by.

Conone remained jailed on $150,000 bond Monday on the first charges.

His attorney, Tanya Askew, declined comment.

If this old man touched my daughter in my pressence then he would cease to exist on earth. Someone should have gone upside his wrinkly old head because it is exciting to hit senior citizens, with their walkers close by.

Definitely, this man needs a psych evaluation. There is definitely something wrong with him. I think he needs to be incarcerated along with therapy. Also, the children involved also need to have therapy, this has to be so terrifying for them. It would be terrible to be a child and be terrified of an elderly person.
