The Fire Department says more firefighters are needed to battle blazes in Marietta, but council is not cooperating with the departments request.
Chief Baker says billing insurance companies would not affect the individual taxpayers or those without insurance.
The additional money would not only go to hiring more personnel but also training the current firefighters.
