Administrators at Ames/True-Temper in Parkersburg spent Monday determining when the fire-damaged manufacturing plant will re-open.

A fire Saturday in the upper roof of plant number one caused extensive damage.

A company security officer tells WTAP News that most workers are expected to report to the plant Tuesday.

The one exception is the Halloback workers, who will be contacted individually by plant supervisors.

A final cause of the fire hasn't been determined, but early indications are that it was electrical in nature.

There was no one working in the plant at the time of the fire, which broke out late Saturday afternoon, and was brought under control by nightfall.

Plant number one is the remaining production facility at the tool manufacturer, after the closing of the number two plant earlier this month.
