To many here in the valley, Labor Day weekend means it's time for the Washington County Fair.
Things kick off Saturday morning with the annual fair parade on Front Street, which begins at 10:00.
New this year are a number of new activities for the kids, including a kiddie version of an annual adult favorite: a mini-"monster truck" show.
"Those are kids who are driving them, from 18 years and younger," says Fair Secretary Jeremy Barth, "will be driving those monster trucks. They're not the full size monster trucks, but they will be doing the same stunts they would do as a full-size truck."
Barth reminds fairgoers that, even if it rains this weekend, there are lots of indoor activities they can take in, while waiting out mother nature.
