A Forklift Flips Over On U.S. 50 Westbound Ramp

Parkersburg Police tell us that truck, hauling a forklift, tried to turn onto the westbound ramp to 50 when the forklift flipped over the guardrail.

It blocked the road and backed up traffic on the bridge about an hour on Friday afternoon.

Joshua Moss, 31, was driving the truck when he says the trailer wheels lifted from the roadway.

He swerved trying to regain control, but the load overturned.

No one was injured.

Moss is marked at fault for failure to maintain control.

A crash at the foot of the fifth street bridge backed up traffic for an hour.

Parkersburg Police tell us that a truck hauling a forklift, tried to turn on to the westbound ramp to U.S. 50 when the forklift flipped over the guardrail.

It blocked the road initially and had traffic backed up on the bridge about an hour.

Detectives are still working to figure out exactly what caused the crash they say they should have more information tomorrow.

No one was injured.
