A bad crash involving three cars Saturday afternoon in Belpre sent three people to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Belpre Police responded to the crash at 1:30 where they say it appeared that a silver Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 and the red Dodge pickup was coming across from Clement Avenue and turned left striking the Corolla and flipped onto its top which caused the Toyota to run into a Ford F-150 that was on the other intersection of Clement Avenue.

The two people in the Corolla, and the driver of the Dodge, were taken to Camden Clark Medical Center while the driver of the F-150 didn't require medical treatment.

Belpre Fire Department, and Ohio State Highway Patrol and St. Joseph's Ambulance Services were also there assisting the accident.

The crash is still under investigation.
