Accident Backs Up Traffic On I-77 South Near Mineral Wells

A small SUV rolled over several times on I-77 south near mile marker 160.

Three people were riding in the car. Police say a 9-month-old baby was in the back seat.

The baby and it's parents are ok.

The parents were transported to Camden Clark Medical Center for minor injuries

But traffic was backed up as emergency responders worked to clean up the roadway.

Police believe the cause is weather related.

Mineral Wells and Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Departments were on scene.

A rollover accident on Interstate 77 South past the Mineral Wells exit is causing some delays.

911 dispatchers say a minivan rolled over and into the median on Interstate 77 South near the 161 mile post.

Traffic is backed up in the area, and drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through.

There are reports of injuries, but the extent is unknown.

No word if the accident is weather related.
