It's not an easy process, but each member of the club helps prepare each batch of apple butter.
They start with jars of apple sauce and stir them in a kettle over flames for almost 12 hours, adding sugar every half hour or so.
Each 4Her takes turns stirring the pot for 15 minutes. They say that's the hardest job.
The jars cost $5 a piece and all the money raised goes to help pay for trips and projects.
Members say 4H has taught them much more than how to make this tasty treat.
"It really teaches us leadership skills. And how to deal with other people. Also, how to be a salesperson when we are selling the butter to people," says president Brianne Affolter.
