Your tips lead authorities to an arrest for breaking and entering.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrests Jared Philpot for a Breaking and Entering at Smitty's Pizza.

Investigators say nothing was stolen from the pizza shop, but there were damages to the building. Smitty's had surveillance cameras which snapped images of someone breaking the door, looking for cash, and driving off in a car. The Sheriff's Office ran the pictures here on WTAP last week and tips came in to lead officers to an arrest.

Then, with a search warrant, officers say they found many items in Philpot's home that appeared to be stolen. They say some items appeared to be stolen from the Marietta area, while other looked to have been stolen from some Cincinnati businesses.

The Marietta Police Department has now taken over the investigation.

A dollar amount and exact stolen items are still unknown and is under investigation.

Philpot is on parole for B & E, possession of criminal tools, and receiving stolen property. He also has a long history of past charges.

Philpot could face further charges as the investigation continues.
