One woman is killed and two other people are hurt in a car crash in Washington County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it happened around 10:00 p.m. Monday on County Road 56 in Adams Township.
They say 26-year-old Alisha Hurst, of Belpre, was driving a Toyota Corolla when she failed to negotiate a sharp curve.
The car went over an embankment and hit a rock, landing on its top in a shallow creek.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her passengers, 27-year-old Tucker Hurst and 3-year-old Kylee Hurst, both of Belpre, were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The OSHP says alcohol and/or drugs are believed to have been a factor in the crash.
It remains under investigation.
