It's a story of paying it forward.
These boys might be little, but they helped out the victims of the Oklahoma tornado in a big way earlier this week.
On Memorial Day, Pack 81 Cub Scouts from St. Marys gave the American Red Cross a check for $200 for Oklahoma relief.
The boys had worked at McDonald's to earn money to go on a trip and Pleasants County Bank matched their donation.
On Monday night, Troop leader Michelle Gordon received a call from an elderly couple saying they wanted to give the boys $100 so they could go on their trip.
On Tuesday morning, another elderly couple came into WTAP with $300 donation to go towards the cub scouts trip.
Troop leader Gordon says, it is good for the boys to learn that you can give and receive and be accepting of that. The troop leaders are so impressed the boys were just fine with giving their money away to people in need.
The scouts were excited today when they learned about what had happened. They had a couple things to say to the generous couples.
"Thank you, Thank you!" said the Cub Scouts. "We are going to have so much fun on our trip. It's good that you gave us the money but if you want to donate anymore money, give it to the Red Cross. Thank you, thank you!."
