CLEVELAND (AP) - An Ohio man accused of streaking across the field during a Browns game has pleaded not guilty to charges of trespassing and public indecency.

The Plain Dealer in Cleveland reports 20-year-old Anthony Saveriano on Tuesday appeared in Cleveland Municipal Court where he agreed to be screened for a first-offenders program that could help him get the charges dismissed.

Phone calls to Saveriano were not answered. His attorney did not immediately return requests for comment.

Attorney Fred Crosby told the newspaper alcohol was not a major factor on his client's decision to disrobe, leap onto the field and run to the end zone during the third quarter of the Brown's victory over the Detroit Lions.

Lions running back Joique Bell twice shoved down Saveriano before he was tackled by security.
