New meaning to the phrase cattle drive today.
That was the case for two calves breaking loose from a farm up the hill Tuesday afternoon.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office along with the West Virginia Division of Highways responded to U.S. 50 eastbound where the animals were on the side of the road.
The calves found a hole in the fence and made a break for it.
WVOH and the farm owners directed the calves back up the hill.
Thankfully they didn't make it out on the highway.
No one was hurt.
