A car chase Friday afternoon ends with the arrests of two Wood County men.
Wood County Deputies arrest 26-year-old Corey Bailey and 51 year-old Jackie Barker.
Bailey is charged with burglary and felony fleeing with reckless disregard.
Barker, who is on parole, is charged with burglary.
Both are also charged with one count of grand larceny.
Deputies and detectives were responding to a call of a reported residential burglary in Belleville, where a flat screen TV, Wii game system, computer monitor and a handgun were taken.
As Sgt. Jason Allen chased after the suspects, their car reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
The car crashed on West Virginia Route 68 near the Lubeck Road intersection.
Bailey and Barker ran away on foot but were caught not far from the accident.
After being medically cleared, the two await arraignment Friday at 10 pm at Wood County Magistrate Court.
The investigation is still underway.
